The municipalityof Manilva is situated at the extremeSW of the province of Málaga, 97 km from the city of Malagaand 35km from Gibraltar. With an area of 35,30 km, it is the junction between the Costa del Sol and the Campo de Gibraltar. Manilva has analtitude of approximately 128m above sea level, an annual precipitation of 750L/m2and an average temperature of 18 ° C. The terrain is configured as a series ofhills that ascend in steps from the sea inland, allowing the simultaneous enjoymentof rural tourism, green tourism, blue tourism or the sea. The currentregistered population is 14.346, distributed in three areas, Manilva,Sabinillas and El Castillo and a number of large urbanizations, the populationcan triple during the summer.
